Meridian Norstar StarTalk 180 2-port Voice Mail Unit

The Meridian Norstar StarTalk 180 2-port voicemail unit is a voice processing application that works in perfect harmony with the Meridian Norstar telephone range.

The Meridian Norstar StarTalk 180 2-port voicemail only takes up one extension port on the Meridian Norstar system, but provides two channels of use - two parties can access the voice mail system simultaneously (two outside callers, two internal users, or combination of each). By adding an upgrade cartridge, the unit can double in capacity. Meridian Norstar StarTalk 180 2-port voicemail operates on RAM chips or "flash" memory technology and contain no moving parts.

The Meridian Norstar StarTalk 180 2-port has the following Features:

• Auto Attendant.
• 2 voice channels.
• 24 mailboxes.
• Storage Capacity: (90) minutes.

Meridian Norstar StarTalk 180 4-port Voice Mail unit

The Meridian Norstar StarTalk 180 4-port voicemail unit is double the capacity of the Meridian Norstar StarTalk 180 2-port voicemail. The Meridian Norstar StarTalk 180 4-port voicemail integrates seamlessly with all the Meridian Norstar systems. The Meridian Norstar StarTalk 180 4-port voicemail takes up two station ports on the Meridian Norstar system, and provides four channels of use - four parties can access the voice mail system simultaneously (four outside callers, four internal users, or any combination of each). Meridian Norstar StarTalk 180 4-port voicemail operates on RAM chips or "flash" memory technology and contain no moving parts.

The Meridian Norstar StarTalk 180 has the following Features:

• 48 mailboxes.

Used with Norstar Compact Plus and Modular Plus telephone systems. State-of-the art messaging system for small to mid-sized businesses, with 10-40 mailbox users. Equipped with a built-in 10/100 Ethernet port, allowing connection to the LAN for advanced applications, including Auto Attendant, Customer Call Routing (CCR), Voice Mail, VPIM/AMIS Networking, Basic Call Centre (Key-code activation), Web-based management, and IP connectivity. Supported on the Norstar Compact and Modular Plus 4.1 or higher.

The Nortel Call Pilot 100 has the following Features:

• 4 Ports (requires 2 digital station ports).
• 9 hours message storage.
• Web-based administration interface.
• Embedded applications activated with a simple key code.
• Advanced features, such as Auto Attendant, Voice Messaging, Custom Call Routing (CCR), and Basic Call Centre.
• Start small and add additional mailboxes and applications as the business grows.

ATA 1 and ATA 2 (analogue terminal adapter)

Analogue Terminal Adapter is a device used to convert a digital extension port to analogue, allowing the connection of analogue devises such as fax machine, cordless phone or answering machine.

CLI 1 and CLI 2 (call logging interfaces)

Is a device connected to a digital extension port, to provide call data that can be collected by call management software to generate call spend reports.

AC15 signaling interface

A signaling system used for linking two pieces of telecommunications equipment (e.g. two telephone systems) over a distance.

E-RAD

Remote Access Device is a device used to provide the ability to reprogram the Norstar via a modem remotely.

Ringing generator

Provides ringing current to power external bells.
